Meet Our Doctors

Dr. Michelle

Dr. Michelle DeFelice Hucke

Dr. Hucke owns and operates Jax Beaches Family Dentistry in Neptune Beach, FL (suburban Jacksonville, FL). The Practice has been a part of the Northeast Florida for decades.
Dr. Michelle DeFelice Hucke’s passion for dentistry came from growing up in a dental office founded by her Dad in New York State decades ago. After graduating from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, she returned to her hometown and worked with her Dad for many years.
For the last decade, she served patients in St. Augustine through St. Johns Family Dentistry, the practice she owned with her husband, Dr. Ron Hucke. Dr. DeFelice Hucke maintains her love for and tradition of great dentistry and works constantly to stay trained and experienced with the latest dental techniques.
She is an active member the North Florida Dental Association and various business networking groups. She currently lives near the beach and enjoys spending time with her husband and twin daughters.

Dr. Kelly Carrothers

A proud Northeast Florida resident, Dr. Carrothers received her DDS from the University of Michigan and graduated cum laude from the University of Toledo. She’s a longtime member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Florida Dental Association, and Northeast Florida Dental Association. Outside the office, she enjoys life at the beach with her husband, Rich, and sons, Devin and Dillon.

Dr. Alina Lenz Coleman

Dr. Lenz graduated from Miami Dade Honors College and Florida International University before earning her DMD in 2018. She specializes in preventative and cosmetic dentistry, injectables, and aligner therapy. Her empathy and passion for helping others shine is in every patient interaction. In her free time, she enjoys swimming, Pilates, cooking, and art.

Dr. Liz Alfuente

Originally from Houston, Texas, Dr. Alfuente earned both her undergraduate and dental degrees from the University of Florida. With a background as a lab technician and sterilization assistant, she brings a full-circle understanding of dental care. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and Jacksonville Dental Society. She enjoys all areas of general dentistry and lives in Florida with her husband, Matthew, and their three daughters: Kynslee, Kadyn, and Kylar.

Dr. Fernando Padron

Dr. Padron is a Prosthodontist with advanced training in oral surgery and implant placement. After earning his DDS, he completed a three-year prosthodontics residency and a dental implant fellowship at Nova Southeastern University. He’s a member of the American College of Prosthodontists and a Diplomate of the International College of Oral Implantologists. He enjoys family life with his wife (also a dentist) and their two children.

Dr. Kelly Carrothers

Dr. Kelly Carrothers has a decades-long reputation for being an effective and compassionate dentist here in Northeast Florida. Her passion to be a dentist led her to graduate cum laude from the University of Toledo in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. She continued her education at the prestigious University of Michigan, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1997. Dr. Carrothers maintains her commitment to great dentistry and works to stay trained and experienced with the latest techniques. She believes strongly in preventative health and the complete health of her patients. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children. Dr. Carrothers has been an active volunteer for years with local youth ballet and our public schools.

Dr. Lauren Humphreys

Dr. Lauren Humphreys is originally from the Florida panhandle and earned her B.S. in Biology from the University of Florida. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University and completed her General Practice Residency at the West Palm Beach V.A. Medical Center. As a general dentist, Dr. Humphreys is passionate about providing compassionate, personalized care. She is skilled in a variety of dental treatments, including surgical procedures, and is dedicated to helping patients feel comfortable and informed every step of the way. In addition to her general practice, Dr. Humphreys has a special passion for dental sleep medicine. Inspired by her own experience with sleep apnea, she is committed to helping patients find relief from sleep-related issues and improving their overall health and quality of life. Outside of the office, Dr. Humphreys enjoys surfing, spending time on the water, and making memories with her friends, family, and her rescue dog.

Dr. Anthony Corral, DMD.

Dr. Anthony Corral is a skilled and compassionate dentist dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care for families across Jacksonville’s beaches communities. With advanced expertise in implantology and cosmetic dentistry, he blends precision, artistry, and a gentle approach to help patients achieve healthy, confident smiles.Dr. Corral earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Temple University and holds an undergraduate degree in Cellular and Molecular Neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University, a background that reflects both his scientific rigor and commitment to clinical excellence.Throughout his career, Dr. Corral has owned and operated multiple dental practices across Northeast Florida, earning a strong reputation for creating a true “patient first” experience. He is known for taking the time to listen, explain, and deliver care with integrity and compassion.Dr. Corral lives in Atlantic Beach with his wife and children, where they enjoy the coastal lifestyle and the vibrant community of Northeast Florida.

Our Sleep Apnea & Wellness Center

Oral health and restful sleep go hand-in-hand. Our Sleep Apnea Center provides custom treatment for sleep-disordered breathing, helping patients overcome snoring, insomnia, and chronic fatigue.
